DIESEL POWER BIOCONTROL for Fuel tanks and systems
Pack Size - 25 LTR
Unitor™ DieselPower™ Biocontrol is a powerful biocide that removes microbial contamination in marine diesel fuel, preventing filter clogging, nozzle blockages, and corrosion. Ensures trouble-free fuel system operation with long-term protection.
Unitor™ DieselPower™ Biocontrol is a highly effective biocide designed to combat microbial contamination in marine diesel oil (MDO) and gas oil storage systems. Microorganisms in fuel can lead to clogged filters, injector nozzle blockages, degraded fuel quality, and tank corrosion. This advanced fuel treatment kills bacteria, fungi, and yeast, ensuring clean fuel flow and optimal engine performance.
Formulated for preventive and shock treatment, DieselPower™ Biocontrol is self-dispersing and can be added directly to fuel tanks without additional mixing. Safe for all materials, it does not produce corrosive combustion byproducts and is ideal for marine vessels, offshore rigs, and industrial fuel storage systems.

Key Features
Powerful Biocide – Eliminates bacteria, fungi, and microbial contamination
Prevents Filter & Nozzle Clogging – Keeps fuel systems clean and efficient
Protects Against Corrosion – Prevents microbial-induced damage in fuel tanks
Safe for All Fuel Systems – Compatible with metal and synthetic rubber materials
No Risk of Microbial Resistance – Proven to work without immunity development
Benefits
Ensures Clean Fuel Flow – Eliminates blockages and improves fuel efficiency
- Reduces Maintenance Costs – Prevents costly downtime and repairs
- Works in All Diesel Fuels – Suitable for MDO, MGO, and ultra-low sulphur diesel
- Long-Term Protection – Prevents future contamination with continuous dosing
- Fast-Acting Shock Treatment – Rapidly kills existing microbial growth in fuel tanks
How to Use
1. Preventive Treatment:
Continuous dosing: 0.20 L/ton (for all new fuel added)
Periodic dosing: 0.6 L/ton (every 2 months)
2. Decontamination of Contaminated Fuel:
Light contamination: 0.8 L/ton
Severe contamination (Shock Dosing): 3 L/ton (for visible biomass & filter blockage)
Best Application Methods:
Transfer fuel between tanks for even biocide distribution.
Add during refueling when the tank is one-third full, then top up.
Pre-dilute in fuel for smaller tanks (not recommended for large tanks).
For shock treatment, allow at least 24 hours for full microbial elimination.
